Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients in ICU, aged between 18 to 70 years; 2. Central venous catheter is required due to illness; 3. ICU length of stay > 3 days.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There were signs of infection at ICU admission and other apparent infections during treatment.
