Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients admitted to the renal Department of our hospital from January 2013 to December 2018 with clinical diagnosis of acute kidney injury and confirmed pathological type by renal biopsy. AKI was defined in accordance with the diagnostic and grading criteria for AKI of the Global Organization for Renal Outcomes (KIDGO) 2012.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients of kidney transplantation; 2. Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD); 3. Patients of solitary kidney or post-nephrectomy; 4. Patients lacking clinical or pathological data at the time of renal biopsy; 5. No pathological changes were found in renal biopsy specimens.
