Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Phase 1 Inclusion criteria (YACHA Training Scheme) : (1) Young people from the Nepali, Pakistani and Indian minorities in Hong Kong; (2) South Asian youth aged 18-40 years; (3) Fluent in English or Chinese, as well as Urdu/Nepali/Hindi; (4) The ability to use electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers to intervene through online platforms; (5) Be willing to participate in training programmes for "community health consultants"; (6) Willingness to serve their community members as "community health consultants"; 2. Inclusion criteria for Phase II (major studies) : (1) Persons aged 50-75 years from South Asian minorities such as India, Nepal and Pakistan; (2) Holding a Hong Kong identity card or a Certificate of Exemption; (3) No personal or family history of colorectal cancer; (4) No previous history of colectomy; (5) No symptoms and symptoms of colorectal cancer; (6) No colorectal cancer screening or fecal immunochemical test (FIT) in the past 2 years, no sigmoidoscopy in the past 5 years, and no colonoscopy in the past 10 years; (7) Able to sign informed consent and willing to be randomly assigned to the control group or intervention group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those participants with first-degree relative with colorectal cancer, with significant medical conditions such as chronic inflammatory bowel diseases and having the history of abdominal or pelvic radiation for a previous cancer and those who are not advised to receive colorectal cancer modalities such as colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and FIT test will be excluded from the study.
