Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.The selected patients need to sign informed consent. 2.The patients diagnose diabetes according to the 1999 WHO diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes mellitus. 3.All patients must be =18 years old.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.The other causes for neuropathy including spondylopathy like radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, and cerebral infarction, Guillain-Barre syndrome, severe vascular disease, infection, immune abnormalities, drug-induced nerve injury , nutritional deficiencies, congenital diseases, trauma, etc. 2.The other causes for abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, hypothalamic and pituitary lesions, long-term use of glucocorticoids ,etc. 3.Type 1 diabetes, gestational diabetes. 4.The acute complications of diabetes including diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperglycemic hyperosmolar nonketotic coma. 5.The patients with severe liver disease, heart disease, long-term use of antibiotic, acute or chronic infection . 6.The pregnant women and those who plans to become pregnant. 7.The patients with acute or chronic infectious diseases and cancer. 8.Subjects who can't sign informed consent.
