Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The clinical diagnosis was consistent with the diagnostic criteria of Sepsis and Septic Shock (Sepsis 3.0), the Third International Consensus, 2016; 2. Enrollment age 18-85 years old, gender unlimited; 3. Understand and be willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent before enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Terminal patients who died within 24 hours after admission to ICU; 2. Those who received more than 4 units of red blood cells or more than 400 mL of fresh frozen plasma infusion; 3. Patients with active hematologic malignancies and metastatic cancers; 4. Patients on immunosuppressive drugs; 5. Patients with end-stage renal disease requiring renal replacement therapy.
