Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >=40 years old; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria for COPD disease; 3. Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease requiring hospitalization ; 4. The patient can complete the operation of sputum specimen collection as required, and can understand and cooperate with the contents of the questionnaire; 5. Life expectancy >=30 days; 6. Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Complicated with other lung diseases, such as lung cancer, bronchiectasis, pneumonia, active pulmonary tuberculosis and other pulmonary infectious diseases; 2. Patients who are expected to be treated with artificial airway mechanical ventilation due to critical condition within 24 hours after admission; 3. Patients with previous severe liver or kidney dysfunction or other end-stage diseases; 4. Use of immunosuppressants before enrollment (> 30 mg/day of prednisolone or equivalent dose for more than 2 weeks); 5. Patients were diagnosed with invasive fungal infection after receiving antifungal therapy or admission within 14 days prior to enrollment; 6. A history of human immunodeficiency virus infection or other acquired or congenital immunodeficiency disease, or a history of organ transplantation; 7. Have a clear history of neurological or mental disorders, such as epilepsy, dementia, and poor compliance; 8. Unstable congestive heart failure or recent cerebral infarction or pulmonary embolism; 9. Patients considered unsuitable for the trial by the investigator for other reasons.
