Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe respiratory failure requires immediate tracheal intubation: RR>40 times/min, P/F<150 under severe hypoxia and high concentration oxygen inhalation, severe respiratory acid PH<7.25, consciousness disorder GCS<8, etc; 2. Those who have contraindications to HFNC or NIV treatment: oral and facial trauma, nasal obstruction, poor ability to discharge sputum due to excessive sputum, and severe instability of hemodynamics; 3. Patients with poor short-term prognosis and high risk of death within 7 days are undergoing palliative treatment; 4. Acute severe failure of other organs; 5. Tracheostomy.
