Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients must understand Mandarin and aged between 18 and 80 years; 2. Thoracic surgery is planned. Surgical procedures include open-heart surgery; pulmonary resection; pulmonary resection other than double lobectomy, pneumonectomy, pneumonectomy, sleeve lobectomy, and segmental resection; single wedge resection or multiple wedge resection; or thoracoscopic bullotomy, lobectomy, partial or total exfoliation, or cuneiform resection of the lung.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Limited self-expression or visual dysfunction; 2. Emergency surgery prior to thoracic surgery; 3. Severe mental illness; 4. Patients with chronic chest pain for more than 2 months before surgery; 5. Pregnant patients and prisoners; 6. Patients who disagreed with the study protocol.
