Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.TD patients: (1) Meet the diagnostic criteria for transient TD or chronic TD; (2) The course of transient tic disorder was >3 months; (3) YGTSS score >12; (4) Aged 4-18 years; (5) Have not received acupuncture or moxibustion within three months, and have stopped taking other medicines or western medicines for the treatment of this disease for more than 3 months; (6) The guardian volunteers, signs the informed consent, and is able to complete the 4-week treatment. 2. Healthy control group: (1) Matched with age and gender of TD patient group; (2) No history of head trauma, convulsions, epilepsy, growth and development disorders or mental illness; No history of abdominal surgery; No history of asphyxia at birth; (3) Have not taken any medication for mental illness; (4) The mother is healthy during pregnancy (no history of infection, digestive disease, drug use or trauma during pregnancy).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary convulsions; 2. Patients with major diseases of important organ systems, such as liver disease, kidney disease, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disease, which may have adverse effects on the clinical observation; 3. Obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, ADHD, anxiety disorder, autism spectrum disorder, eating disorder, or substance abuse history; 4. Epilepsy, Huntington's disease, rheumatic chorea, Wilson's disease, globus pallidus nigra, cardiogenic tic and other extrapyramidal diseases; 5. Use antibiotics, probiotics, high-dose vitamins or immunomodulators within 4 weeks prior to the collection of stool samples; 6. Suffering from any infectious diseases or other serious diseases that may affect the gut microbiome; 7. There are local skin ulceration and surgical scars at the treatment points; 8. Children who are participating in clinical trials of other drug or non-drug treatments.
