Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Consistent with metabolic syndrome diagnosis: (1) Patients who present at least three of the following five risk factors are considered to have MetS: 1) Abdominal obesity (male waist > 90 cm, female waist > 85 cm); 2) High triglyceride (TG >= 1.70 mmol/L); 3) Low high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C 130/85 mmHg); 5) High fasting blood glucose (FPG > 6.10 mmol/L); 2. The patient was clinically diagnosed as benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants with a history of prostate or urethral surgery; 2. Patients with urethral stricture, urinary tract infection, malignant tumor or neurogenic bladder; 3. Long-term users of anticholinergics, 5-reductase inhibitors, phosphodiesterase inhibitors and hormone replacement therapy.
