25 Years to 55 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male aged 25-55 years. 2. Alcohol Dependence group: Patients with alcohol dependence were assessed according to the Alcohol Use Disorders Screening Scale (AUDIT) with a total score of 20 or more. 3. Healthy control group: Age basically matched with case group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Diabetes mellitus, irritable bowel syndrome, and inflammatory bowel disease in the year before the study; 2. Abusers of substances other than tobacco and patients suffering from depression and other mental disorders; 3. Those who have used probiotics, prebiotics, probiotics and prebiotic mixtures and antibiotics in the month prior to the collection of stool, and those who are known to be infected with bacteria, molds and viruses in the acute phase.
