Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Experiment 1: 1. Healthy young people who do not smoke; 2. Take any medicine known to affect the cough reflex sensitivity irregularly; 3. No history of respiratory disease or gastroesophageal reflux disease; 4. No symptoms consistent with acute viral upper respiratory tract infection or seasonal allergy in the last 4 weeks; 5. No known neurological or psychiatric history (epilepsy, etc.); 6. Sign the informed consent form. Experiment 2: 1. It conforms to the diagnostic criteria for chronic refractory cough in the Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cough (2015 edition) formulated by the asthma group of the Respiratory Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; 2. Aged between 18 and 65; 3. Subjects voluntarily signed the informed consent form. Experiment 3: 1. The patient was diagnosed with pneumonia according to the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Community Acquired Pneumonia for Chinese Adults (2016 Edition) and the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Hospital Acquired Pneumonia and Ventilator Associated Pneumonia for Chinese Adults (2018 Edition); 2. Age = 65; 3. At present, CRP and all inflammatory indicators have turned negative for at least 3 months, and the patient's condition is stable; 4. People who eat by mouth; 5. Subjects voluntarily signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Experiment 1: 1. Women during menstruation, pregnancy or lactation; 2. There are metal implants in the body (such as cochlear implants and stents); 3. Alcoholics or drug addicts; 4. Those who are seriously lack of sleep; 5. Irritated parts are allergic or injured. Experiment 2: 1. Have serious respiratory diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema, respiratory failure, lung cancer, etc; 2. Patients with serious primary diseases such as cardio cerebrovascular, liver, kidney and hematopoietic system and psychiatric patients; 3. Have used ACEI, bronchodilators, hormones, antihistamines and antitussive drugs in recent 4 weeks; 4. Women during menstruation, pregnancy or lactation; 5. There are metal implants in the body (such as artificial cochlea and stent); 6. Alcoholics or drug addicts; 7. Those who are seriously lack of sleep; 8. Irritated parts are allergic or injured. Experiment 3: 1. Cognitive impairment, MMSE score = 24; 2. Past stroke history or new stroke for a long time; 3. After tracheotomy; 4. Have a history of chronic respiratory diseases, or have serious heart, liver, kidney and other systemic diseases, or have a history of serious mental and neurological diseases (such as epilepsy); 5. Have used ACEI, bronchodilators, hormones, antihistamines and antitussive drugs in recent 4 weeks; 6. There are metal implants in the body (such as artificial cochlea and stent); 7. Smokers, alcoholics or drug addicts; 8. Those who are seriously lack of sleep; 9. Irritated parts are allergic or injured.
