Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Between the ages of 18 and 65; 2. Gout patients with a history of primary gout >= 12 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Excessive alcohol consumption, > 30 grams per day for men and > 20 grams per day for women; 2. Patients with other underlying causes of liver disease, including a history of hepatotoxic drugs, viral hepatitis, haemochromatosis, autoimmune hepatitis, Wilson's or Alpha's disease, and antitrypsin disease; 3. Patients taking any medication that can cause liver changes, such as estrogen, corticosteroids, methotrexate, statins, or angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin receptor blockers; 4. Patients who had received urate-lowering therapy (ULT) in the previous 12 months were excluded.
