Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 65 years; 2. Symptoms and signs: (1) The presence of pain, vomiting, swelling, closure and other clinical symptoms of intestinal obstruction; (2) Except peritonitis; 3. Chest, abdominal and pelvic CT (plain or plain + enhanced CT) : right colon mass with enlargement of the proximal colon and small intestine; 4. Qualitative diagnosis: adenocarcinoma or other malignant tumors confirmed by postoperative pathological biopsy (otherwise eliminated); 5. Localization diagnosis: The tumor was located in the right 1/3 segment from cecum to transverse colon; 6. ASA grade I-III, TNM stage II-III; 7. Patient or family member, able to understand the study protocol and willing to participate in the study, shall provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Synchronous or heterogeneous multiple primary colorectal cancer; 2. Preoperative imaging examination results showed that: (1) Loop closure ileus, terminal ileum without significant dilation; (2) Vascularized, paralytic or non-tumor mechanical ileus; 3. Preoperative imaging findings: (1) Tumors involving surrounding organs require combined organ resection; (2) Patients with distant organ transfer; 4. Patients with a history of malignant tumor or recurrence of colon cancer; 5. Familial adenomatous polyposis and Lynch syndrome associated colon cancer were excluded; 6. Patients with acute peritonitis caused by gastrointestinal perforation, intestinal bleeding, and intestinal constriction necrosis requiring emergency surgery.
