Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Both biological parents are Han nationality; 2. Aged 18-55 years, no gender limit; 3. Meet the DSM-IV criteria for the clinical diagnosis of schizophrenia; 4. Total score of PANSS >=60; 5. Written informed consent shall be obtained from the subject. If the subject is incapacitated during the onset period, written informed consent shall be obtained from the legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with schizoaffective disorder, mental retardation, generalized developmental disorder, delirium, dementia, memory impairment, or other cognitive impairment who meet the diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV; 2. Mental disorders (alcohol, drugs, etc.) caused by substance abuse, patients with serious unstable physical diseases, diagnosed diabetes, thyroid disease, hypertension, heart disease, etc.; 3. Narrow Angle glaucoma; 4. Patients with a history of epilepsy, except those with high fever and convulsion; 5. Patients who met DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria for alcohol and drug dependence (except nicotine dependence); 6. Patients who had been treated with ECT one month before enrollment; 7. Patients with or have suffered from drug-induced malignant symptoms, severe EPS, and obvious delayed dyskinesia; 8. Unable to take medicine according to medical advice, or without guardian; 9. Pregnant or breastfeeding patients, or those planning to become pregnant; 10. The prohibition of magnetic resonance scanning (except those who do not need MRI).
