Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who meet any of the following criteria will be included: 1. Patients with previous abdominal surgical history, and the planned laparotomy is going to open the surgical incision created by the last surgery; 2. Patients with diabetes mellitus who are going to undergo a laparotomy; 3. Patients with obesity (for Asian, BMI > 27.5) and going to undergo a laparotomy; 4. Patients who are going to undergo unexcepted laparotomy to deal with surgical complications; 5. Emergency laparotomy for Class II or III surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The surgical incision is not closed by the requested method of this study; 2. Patients with chronic immunosuppressive therapy for immune diseases.
