Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Elevated blood glucose first detected during pregnancy that meets the diagnostic criteria for a person with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). The diagnostic criteria were adopted from the 2019 American Diabetes Association (ADA) published criteria; 2. Age > 18 years, gestational age between 24 and 28 weeks; 3. Conscious, with normal communication and executive ability.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Fasting blood glucose >7 mmol/L; 2. Pre-pregnancy diagnosis of type l diabetes or type 2 diabetes and other special types of diabetes or abnormal glucose tolerance; 3. Complicated with hypertensive diseases or other endocrine metabolic diseases, such as gestational hypertension, cortisolism, hyperthyroidism, polycystic ovaries, etc.; 4. Bad habits such as smoking and alcohol; 5. Severe organic heart disease, such as congenital heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, hypertrophic or dilated heart diseases, NYHA cardiac function class > III, skeletal diseases; 6. Other acute and chronic diseases such as impaired liver and kidney function, or a history of long-term use of special drugs or drugs affecting glucose metabolism; 7. Any other clinically significant conditions or twin pregnancies as determined by the investigator.
