Interventions

sedated esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) followed by unsedated colonoscopy :propofol was not administered any more when the EGD examination finished
sedated EGD followed by sedated colonoscopy:propofol was stopped being administered until the whole procedure finished
sedated EGD followed by sedated insertion colonoscopy :propofol was not administered any more when colonoscope inserted into the cecum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Asymptomatic population aged 35–60 years who were scheduled for same-day BDE under propofol sedation as part of routine physical examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA level 4 and above; 2. Propofol allergy; No accompanying; 3. Polyposis syndrome; Colorectal cancer; 4. Poor intestinal preparation; 5. Unable to reach the cecum due to intestinal obstruction; 6. The mirror removal time is less than 6 minutes; 7. Refused to participate in the study.
