Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with septic shock who met the Sepsis-3 criteria were admitted to the Department of Critical Care Medicine of four tertiary general hospitals in Jiangsu Province (Jiangsu Subei People's Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University, Taizhou People's Hospital, and Yangzhou Jiangdu People's Hospital) from July 2021 to December 2022.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged < 18 years; 2. Trauma, epilepsy, cardiogenic pulmonary edema, stroke, active hemorrhage; 3. Septic shock was diagnosed and fluid resuscitation was performed before admission to ICU; 4. Patients who have participated in other clinical research projects and are expected to die within 24 hours.
