Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Depression group (MDD group) : (1) Patients with depression who visited the Sixth People's Hospital of Hebei Province from February 2021 to July 2022; (2) Meet the Diagnostic criteria for depressive episode in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Five (DSM-5); (3) 17-item Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD) score >=17; (4) Patients with the first episode had never received psychotropic medication, and had not received any physical therapy including non-convulsive electroconvulsive therapy within 4 weeks before enrollment; (5) Good physical condition, no recent trauma, osteoarthrosis, rhinitis and other physiological diseases that affect sports participation and physiological signal acquisition; (6) Right-handed; (7) Voluntarily participate and sign the informed consent form. 2. Healthy control group: (1) As much as possible, the subjects and patients with depression should be close in age, gender and education level; (2) No mental disorder as assessed by the preliminary screening scale; (3) Good physical condition, no recent trauma, osteoarthrosis, rhinitis and other physiological diseases that affect sports participation and physiological signal acquisition; (4) Voluntarily participate and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with previous mental disorders including manic or hypomanic episodes and borderline personality disorder; 2. Currently or in the past with neurological diseases or other serious physical diseases, serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, respiratory diseases; 3. Current or past history of substance abuse or dependence, family history of mental illness; 4. Patients with secondary depressive disorder caused by other systemic organic diseases or drugs; 5. Patients with current or previous history of severe craniocerebral trauma leading to loss of consciousness; 6. History of seizures or family history of seizures.
