19 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults (older than 18 years old); 2. ASA physical status 1-2; 3. Scheduled for elective ERCP.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients were older than 65 years old; 2. BMI >30 kg/m2; 3. Documented or highly suspected obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) based on STOP-BANG score of 3 or higher; 4. Known or suspected difficult airway; 5. Pregnancy; 6. Allergy to propofol, soybean, or albumin; 7. A history of coagulopathies or nasal bleeding; 8. Severe nasal obstruction; 9. Recent nasal trauma or nasal surgery; 10. severe brain, cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal diseases; 11. Patients on oxygen therapy at home; 12. Patients requiring general anesthesia with tracheal intubation; 13. Lack of consent to participation in the study.
