Age
18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. the patients with severe non perliferative diabetic retinopathy or proliferative diabetic retinopathy; 2. age between 18-70 years; 3. agree to stick to the follow-up plan.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. severe systemic comlication who can not tolerate photocoagulation; 2. severe optic media opaque that prevent further photocoagulation; 3. fail to follow-up; 4. who recieved glaucoma surgery or vitrectomy during follow-up.
