Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Thoracic and lumbar single vertebral body fracture with lumbar and back pain symptoms on one side; 2. Age = 60 years; 3. No spinal cord or nerve root injury; 4. T value of bone mineral density test = - 2.5SD; 5. The course of disease is within 6 weeks, and there is a clear history of trauma; 6. MRI diagnosis was fresh fracture; 7. ASTLOF score = 5 points; 8. Take anti-osteoporosis drugs regularly during the follow-up period after PKP; 9. Routine imaging follow-up before and after operation is more than 1 year.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Multi-segmental osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture; 2. Severe compression fracture, Cobb angle>40 °; 3. Patients with fracture of the posterior wall of the vertebral body were excluded, because the fracture of the posterior wall was associated with a higher leakage rate of bone cement; 4. Symptoms of nerve root and/or spinal cord compression; 5. Old fracture or pathological fracture, such as hemangioma, multiple myeloma, bone tuberculosis, etc; 6. Patients with severe cardiopulmonary dysfunction, liver failure and renal insufficiency who cannot tolerate surgery; 7. Uncorrectable bleeding disorder; 8. Systemic or local spinal infection; 9. The follow-up of patients failed or the clinical data were incomplete.
