Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA score I or II; 2.aged 2-12 years; 3.scheduled for elective surgery under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation; 4.No previous history of systemic disease; 5.provide informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.body weight exceeding 20% of the ideal body weight; 2.hepatic and renal dysfunction,and history of other systemic diseases; 3.a history of upper respiratory tract infection and cough within the previous 2 weeks; 4.a history of asthma; 5.Recent use of medications that could affect the study,such as angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, antidepressants,bronchodilators, or steroids.
