Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. There is at least one severe ankle sprain, and the initial sprain must occur within one year of registration of this study. 2. The injured ankle will have ''yielding'' and/or recurrent sprain and/or ''instability''. 3. Aged 18-35 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous operations on musculoskeletal structures (such as bones, joint structures, nerves) of any limb of the lower limb. 2. In the past 3 months, acute injuries to the musculoskeletal structures of other joints in the lower limbs have affected the integrity and function of joints (i.e. sprains and fractures), resulting in the interruption of expected physical activities for at least one day. 3. Bilateral ankle instability.
