Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children diagnosed with congenital cataract; 2. Any ophthalmic surgery was not performed at baseline, such as Corneal transplantation, iris defect repair, etc.; 3. Undergone cataract extraction before 5 years old; 4. Undergone (primary or secondary) intraocular lens implantation surgery after cataract extraction.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Other types of cataract in children, such as drug cataract, metabolic cataract, secondary cataract, traumatic cataract, developmental cataract, hormone related cataract, etc.; 2. Pre-existing eye diseases such as retinopathy of prematurity, uveitis, optic nerve inflammation or glaucoma, etc.; 3. Severe ocular malformations, such as persistent fetal vascular, congenital glaucoma, congenital microcornea, etc.; 4. Complicated with systemic diseases that affect vision, such as Marfan syndrome, Alport syndrome, Down syndrome, Hallermann-Streiff syndrome, Lowe syndrome, Stickler syndrome, Norrie disease, nance-Horan syndrome, etc.; 5. Complicated with metabolic diseases that affect vision, such as diabetes, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, galactosemia, homocysteinuria, etc; 6. Complicated with other ocular abnormalities that affect visual development or visual assessment.
