Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who chose to undergo elective surgery at the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Harbin Medical University; 2. Aged 18 years and over; 3. ASA rating of I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of neurological disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's syndrome); 2. History of postoperative delirium and psychosis during preoperative evaluation; 3. History of recent stroke and cerebral hemorrhage; 4. History of traumatic brain injury; 5. Preoperative irregular use of opioids/sedatives/anxiolytics; 6. Preoperative screening of patients with possible cognitive dysfunction (preoperative evaluation of patients with MMSE scales, uneducated less than 17 points / Less than 6 years of education but less than 20 points / Education greater than or equal to 6 years but less than 24 points); 7. CAGE questionnaire >= 2 points; 8. Inability to read or understand informed consent documents.
