Age
18 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 18years; 2. Patients receiving mechanical ventilation for the first time; 3. Mechanical ventilation patients who failed to wean repeatedly for 2 weeks; 4. The patient's basic condition is stable (vital signs are stable, infection is effectively controlled, nervous system function is stable, etc.); 5. Informed consent signed by family members;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients whose condition has not been stable or continues to deteriorate (such as acute cardiovascular events, progressive aggravation of neurological signs, new lesions or bleeding tendency, etc.); 2. Patients with EDP contraindication (such as malignant tumor patients, pacemakers, local skin lesions of irritation sites, electric stimulation of allergy, active pulmonary tuberculosis and other infectious diseases, pneumothorax patients, etc.) 3. The vital signs fluctuated greatly during EDP treatment.
