Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient meet the diagnostic criteria of brain injury, confirmed by CT or MRI, and the course of disease was from 1 to 180 days; 2. Patients aged 16 to 65 years old with first onset; 3. Meet the following diagnostic criteria for acute coma and/or chronic disorder of consciousness: Acute coma: GCS <= 8 or oral subitem <= 4, within 1 month of onset. Chronic disorder of consciousness (DOC) : onset of illness for more than 1 month, auditory response subitem <= 4 or communication subitem =1 of the revised CRS-R. 4.Native Speaker of Chinese, good hearing before illness. 5. Vital signs were stable for more than 24 hours without or with only a small dose of vasoactive drugs (dopamine 5µg/(kg.min)). 6. No new malignant arrhythmias occurred. 7. Signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Using neuromuscular blockers or sedatives; 2.There was a history of coma before the onset of the disease; 3.Have a history of mental illness or cognitive impairment; 4.A history of upper limb contusion or fracture; 5.Participating in other intervention studies; 6.Unable to cooperate with rehabilitation assessment and treatment; 7.Complicated with other primary serious organ or systemic diseases; 8. Limited self-care ability before onset (daily living activity score less than 80 points).
