Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. 6-10 years old patients with mixed dentition, before treatment: the eruption of the maxillary first permanent molar, mandibular first permanent molar, maxillary permanent central incisor, and mandibular permanent central incisor; 2. Facial asymmetry; 3. The initial cervical spine stage in CS1-CS3; 4. There is at least one pre-existing problem: (1) Moderate/severe crowding is predicted during permanent dentition; (2) Anterior or posterior teeth reverse occlusion; (3) Patients' perception of facial shape needs to be improved; 5. The transverse width of the maxilla is not developed enough, and the difference of the transverse width of the maxillary and mandibular basal bones is less than 5 mm.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from temporomandibular joint disorder and congenital missing teeth; 2. Previous history of cleft lip and palate, orthodontic history; 3. Suffer from systemic diseases.
