Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A and C inclusion criteria: 1. Clinical manifestations: postural vertigo, duration of each attack = 30 seconds, induced by turning over, lying down, sitting up from lying position, looking up or looking down; 2. Clinical diagnosis: make the diagnosis of BPPV in the posterior semicircular canal according to the positive result of Dix Hallpike induction test. Group B inclusion criteria: 1. In line with the clinical manifestations of group A, but without Dix Hallpike induction test, the supine lateral head test was still performed to exclude the BPPV of horizontal semicircular canal.
