standard control group:200mg celecoxib b.i.d. (morning and night) p.o. for 4 weeks
pregablin group:75mg pregabalin b.i.d. (morning and night) p.o. for 4 weeks
duloxetine group :30mg duloxetine b.i.d. (morning and night) p.o. for 4 weeks

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Eligible participants were aged above 50 years old; diagnosed with primary knee OA; 2.Had Kellagran-Lawrence grades of 3 or 4 for radiographic severity; 3.Were willing and indicated for TKA surgery; 4.Had NSAIDs as the only analgesia therapy during 3 months before surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The exclusion criteria were secondary knee OA; 2.Inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis (RA), ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and gout, etc.; 3.Osteonecrosis owing to alcohol and medicine; 4.Diabetic peripheral neuropathy; Herpes Zoster; 5.Mental illness, including depression and anxiety disorder, etc.; 6.Nervous system disease, including Parkinson's disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), etc.; 7.Intolerance and severe allergy to medications used in this study and for surgical anesthesia; 8. Operation failure; 9. Postoperative complications such as surgical site infection and hematoma occurred.
