Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. 6–12 years of age; 2. ADHD diagnosis from a psychiatrist based on the DSM-5 criteria, a standard structured interview according to the Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children-Present and lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL); 3. Having an intelligence quotient (IQ) of more than 80, measured by the Chinese Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, fourth edition; 4. No concurrent medication treatment for at least six months before the intervention; 5. Physical ability to participate in the intervention and ability to follow instructions; 6. No additional extra-curriculum physical activity training.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. One or more combined psychiatric disorders, as determined by K-SADS-PL; 2. Having drug dependence before the intervention; 3. Failure to follow instructions (i.e., severe oppositional defiant disorder).
