Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Office systolic blood pressure (BP) more than 140 mmHg and/or diastolic BP more than 90 mmHg (average of 3 repeated measurements made by the same doctor with a sphygmomanometer), or patients with systolic BP more than 135 mmHg and/or diastolic BP more than 85 mmHg by daytime ambulatory BP monitoring. 2. 18 years of age or older. 3. Risk stratification was carried out according to 2018 Chinese Guidelines for Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension, and the hypertensive patients were identified as high-risk or very high-risk.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases within 3 months; 2. Combined pregnancy; 3. Complicated with renal failure; 4. Severe liver failure; 5. Complicated with malignant tumor; 6. Patients who loss to follow-up.
