Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. 60 years old <= age < 80 years old; 2. Painless gastroscopy is performed; 3. Patient or family informed consent; 4. ASA classification I-II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with nasal bleeding, nasal mucosal injury, nasal occupancy, etc. who are unable to perform transnasal CO2 monitoring; 2. Patients with diagnosed heart disease (heart failure, angina, heart attack, arrhythmia, etc.); 3. Diagnosed lung disease (asthma, bronchitis, COPD, pulmonary aspergillosis, pulmonary embolism, lung cancer, etc.); 4. Pre-existing hypotension (systolic blood pressure <= 90 mmHg), bradycardia (heart rate < 50 beats/min) or hypoxemia (SaO2 < 90%); 5. The presence of underlying diseases requiring oxygenation; 6. Emergency surgery; 7. Multiple trauma; 8. Clear upper respiratory tract infection; 9. Allergy to sedative drugs such as propofol or equipment such as tape.
