Group R:Intrathecal (I/T) ropivacaine 12mg
Group RD1:I/T ropivacaine 12 mg +dexmedetomidine 5 µg
Group RD2:I/T ropivacaine 12 mg +dexmedetomidine 7.5 µg
Group RD3:I/T ropivacaine 12 mg +dexmedetomidine 10 µg

18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Singleton pregnancy; 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-II; 3. Aged between 20 and 45 years; 4. Gestational age >= 37 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Had contraindications to regional anesthesia; 2. Hypertension; 3. Cardiopulmonary disease; 4. Chronic users of adrenergic receptor blockers or calcium channel blockers; 5. A known history of alcohol or substance abuse; 6. Pregnancy comorbidities; 7. Allergies to any of the drugs used in the study; 8. A history of psychiatric disorders.
