Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria of severe vascular cognitive impairment (VCI) according to Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnostic and Treatment of Vascular Cognitive Impairment (2019); 2. Meet the minimum imaging standard of VCI according to VASCOG; 3. Meet at least one cognitive assessment criteria of Cognitive Impairment; 4. Meet the diagnostic criteria of dysphagia; 5. Aged 55 to 80 years old with no limitation of gender; 6. To participate voluntarily, the patient and/or legal guardian shall sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe impulsive or suicidal ideation or behavior; 2. Other neurological diseases with early progressive cognitive impairment; 3. Lack of vascular disease according to imaging; 4. Take part in other medical clinical trials within one month; 5. Cognitive impairment due to other diseases; 6. Have contraindications of rTMS; 7. Major medical diseases of heart, liver, lung, pancreas, and kidney; 8. Pseudodementia due to MDD or other strong mental stimulation; 9. Patients with poor compliance; 10.Severe dementia patients who can't cooperate with diagnosis and treatment.
