Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing painless gastroenteroscopy under intravenous anesthesia at Outpatient Endoscopy Center of Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University; 2. Aged 18 to 65 years; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classifications 1-2; 4. BMI 18-25 kg/m2; 5. The ability to give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: A history of coagulopathy or nose bleeding; severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic or renal disease; an infection of the mouth, nose, or throat; or an allergy to propofol, eggs, soybean, or albumin.
