Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A clinical diagnosis of the first-ever stroke; 2. Aged 18 years old or above; 3. Within the first six months after stroke onset; 4. Experienced some symptoms of poststroke fatigue, multidimensional fatigue inventory score = 45; 5. Modified Rankin scale score < 4; 6. Able to understand and give informed consent, as assessed by abbreviated mental test score= 6; 7. Live at home after hospital discharge.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Have aphasia or other communication impairment; 2. Unable to speak, read, or write Chinese; 3. Have severe mental illnesses or substance abuse; 4. Have medical comorbidity in which fatigue is a prominent symptom, such as cancer and renal failure; 5. Cannot access to mobile phone and WeChat application; 6. Take part in other studies such as psychological interventions or physical interventions that might affect the result of this study.
