Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The inpatients who were in intensive care unit (ICU) because of trauma, with the age range from 16 to 75 years old; 2. The inpatients who were registered in hospital within 48 hours after trauma; 3. The score of injury severity score (ISS) was greater than or equal to 16, or the score of abbreviated injury score (AIS) was greater than or equal to 3; 4. The length of stay in ICU of hospital was longer than or equal to 5 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children, pregnant women, and the inpatients with hypersensitivity; 2. The inpatients with the following risk factors: (1) The inhabitants who lived in nursing facility (such as the elderly welfare home, sanatorium) for long time; (2) Combined with chronic respiratory system disease (such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and so on); (3) Combined with chronic cardiovascular system disease (such as congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure or coronary artery disease, not including hypertension without any other related symptom of heart); (4) Combined with hematological system disease (such as chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) / chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), myelodysplastic syndrome, aplastic anemia, and so on); (5) Disorder of nervous system disease and neural development, including disability of brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves and muscle, such as cerebral palsy (CP), epilepsy (seizure disorder), stroke, dysnoesia, hypovolutism from midrange to severe, muscular dystrophies or spinal cord injuries; (6) Poor control of chronic metabolic disease and endocrine system disease; (7) Immune function suppression, such as long-term using immunosuppressive agents, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, or immunocompromice caused by malignant tumor; (8) Infectious disease.
