Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Failure to achieve a reduction in seizure frequency to less than 4 times per month with at least 2 antiepileptic drugs prescribed over 3 months; 2. Patients had a generalized attack, and no obvious abnormal lesions were found in routine imaging examination, and the drug regimen was not changed in the last 2 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a history of extensive structural damage, stroke, and encephalitis; 2. Patients with other neurological and psychiatric disorders and who did not consistently take medication; 3. Patients who could not receive MRI scan or had MRI contraindications; 4. Women who had a recent pregnancy plan or in perinatal period; 5. Patients consumed illicit drugs and heavy alcohol.
