Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Nonalcoholic cirrhosis patients between 20 and 75 years of age who were consent to test for MHE according to the psychometric hepatic encephalopathy score (PHES) and the stroop test. 1. The first stage is to meet the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine for liver cirrhosis, and the liver function grades of A, B and C are all acceptable. 2. Aged 18 to 70 years; 3. In the second stage, patients diagnosed with MHE by PHES test were included. 4. Informed consenter.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. HE with clinical symptoms; 2. Previous mental abnormalities (such as severe anxiety, depression, etc.) or neurological abnormalities (sequelae of stroke, Parkinson's disease, etc.); 3. Use of anesthetics, sedatives or central nervous system depressants (other drugs such as blood-lowering ammonia drugs or branched-chain amino acids) within a month; 4. Alcoholic cirrhosis; 5. Patients with pathologic retardation (e.g., anemia, hemoglobin below 90 g/L, Water electrolyte acid-base imbalance, Temperature rise above 37.5 ?); 6. Patients with primary liver cancer; 7. Complications of upper gastrointestinal bleeding within the last 2 weeks; 8. Unable to take mental intelligence test due to educational level and visual acuity (red-green color blindness); 9. Patients with severe cardiopulmonary diseases, cerebrovascular accidents and severe diabetes complications; 10. Pregnant or lactating women.
