Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Conform to the diagnosis of giant lumbar disc herniation and the imaging findings are consistent with clinical symptoms and signs (The imaging manifestations are mainly the well-developed spinal canal, the protrusion exceeds 8mm or the nucleus pulposus protrudes more than 5mm backward and downward, and the protrusion has no calcification); 2. ''Three increases'' improved collagenase dissolution treatment; 3. Single segment herniation, no lumbar disc herniation in other segments before; 4. Patients with L3/4, L4/5, and L5/S1 prominent segments of LDH; 5. All surgical patients were completed by Professor Zhang Hongxin according to the standard procedure of ''three increases'' modified collagenase dissolution.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Lost to follow-up; 2. Imaging data is missing; 3. History of spine-related surgery in the past; 4. Patients with other spinal-related diseases; 5. Lumbar spondylolisthesis (grade II and above), vertebral body fracture; 6. Combined with serious other systemic diseases and autoimmune diseases; 7. Unable to cooperate with follow-up investigation.
