Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for LBP patients: (1) Aged 35-65 years; (2) Having radicular pain or referred pain involving the lower extremities; (3) VAS score > 4; (4) The straight leg raising test and the lifting test are positive, and the patella and Achilles tendon reflexes are weak or absent; (5) No history of opioid use. 2. Inclusion criteria of healthy control group: (1) Aged 35-65 years, age, gender and education level should be roughly matched with the patient group; (2) Volunteer to join.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Spinal canal compression caused by trauma or infection; 2. History of spinal surgery or spinal deformity; 3. Other diseases of the nervous system, such as trauma, stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, dementia or a history of multiple sclerosis; 4. Cardiovascular, liver, kidney, hematopoietic and other systemic diseases; 5. Spinal protrusion, lateral recess stenosis, spinal stenosis, piriformis syndrome or simple sciatica; 6. Lumbar disc herniation without clinical symptoms; 7. Participants who refuse or have contraindications to MRI, such as claustrophobia or metallic implants.
