Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The inclusion criteria for patients with intermittent exotropia are: (1) Aged 10 to 50 years; (2) Meet the diagnostic criteria for intermittent exotropia; (3) No history of eye disease and systemic disease; (4) The best corrected visual acuity in one eye is 1.0; (5) Anisometropia (equivalent spherical power) =15PD; (7) Basic intermittent exotropia; (8) Right-handed; (9) Be able to understand and cooperate with the inspection, and voluntarily sign the informed consent. 2. The inclusion criteria for normal subjects are: (1) Age, gender, refractive status, right-handedness and education level are matched with the enrolled patients; (2) No history of eye disease and systemic disease; (3) The best corrected visual acuity in one eye reaches 1.0; (4) Anisometropia (equivalent spherical power) <2.5DS; (5) No history of various types of strabismus; (6) Be able to understand and cooperate with the inspection, and voluntarily sign the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic dysplasia or combined craniocerebral and nervous system diseases; 2. Nystagmus; 3. Combined vertical strabismus, abnormal oblique muscle function and A-V sign; 4. History of eye surgery; 5. High degree of hyperopia (equivalent spherical mirror degree>+5.0D), high myopia (equivalent spherical mirror degree>-6.0D); 6. Patients with high astigmatism (cylindrical power>2.5D); 7. History of amblyopia; 8. MRI contraindications (pacemakers, magnetizable metals or prostheses for therapeutic or accidental presence in the body, previous head or spinal trauma requiring neurosurgery, etc.); 9. Claustrophobia.
