Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with high-risk micronodules (TI-RADS category 4 and above) indicated by thyroid ultrasonography in Zhongshan Seventh Hospital; 2. Patients who need to be hospitalized for high-risk thyroid micronodule for thyroid fine needle aspiration or surgery for thyroid microcarcinoma (papillary cancer) according to the patient's wishes; 3. Patients with thyroid micronodule with negative thyroid fine needle aspiration although thyroid ultrasound showed malignant signs; 4. The nature of thyroid micronodules is still difficult to determine after fine needle aspiration, such as atypia of undetermined significance (AUS), follicular lesions of undetermined significance (FLUS) or Follicular tumor nodules (Follicular neoplasm, FN) and so on.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with routine blood test, coagulation dysfunction or serious physical disease who cannot tolerate thyroid fine needle aspiration; 2. Infection at the puncture or surgical site; 3. Impaired liver function: defined as alanine aminotransferase (ALT) >= 2.0 times the upper limit of normal, known to be positive for hepatitis B antigen or hepatitis C antibody; 4. Impaired renal function: defined as serum creatinine >= 135 umol/L (>= 1.5 mg/dL) in men and >= 110 umol/L (>= 1.3 mg/dL) in women; 5. Clinically significant cardiovascular disease in the past 3 months, including acute history of cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction and/or heart failure (NYHA class III or IV) determined according to the judgment of the investigator; 6. Uncontrolled/untreated hypertension (defined as systolic blood pressure >=180mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure >=100mmHg); 7. Malignant disease or any clinically significant disease or disorder that may interfere with the test results according to the investigator's judgment; 8. Obesity caused by Cushing syndrome, hypothyroidism, hypothalamic obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome, and taking glucocorticoids; 9. Obesity caused by genetic and chromosomal abnormalities such as Laurence-Moon-Biedl syndrome, Prader-Will syndrome; 10. In acute attack of gouty arthritis, subacute thyroiditis or infection in other parts that affect the detection level of C-reactive protein; 11. Patients with multiple endocrine neoplasia; 12. Use or suspected abuse of alcohol or narcotics; 13. Mental disorders, unconsciousness or language barriers that prevent adequate understanding or cooperation; 14. Females of childbearing potential who are pregnant, breastfeeding or intending to become pregnant during the trial period or who do not use appropriate contraceptive measures (appropriate contraceptive measures are required by local law or practice).
