18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Possible AE: (1) subacute onset ( 5/ml), and MRI features suggestive of encephalitis; (3) Reasonably exclude others. 2. Confirmed AE: possible AE+ blood/cerebrospinal fluid autoimmune encephalitis antibody positive; 3. Informed consent of the patient and/or authorized relatives.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with infectious encephalitis with laboratory evidence: tuberculosis or bacterial, fungal, viral (IgM) or parasitic infection; 2. Other diseases showing other similar symptoms: ADEM, Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and metabolic encephalopathy; 3. Incomplete medical records.
