Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 65 years; 2. ASA grade I~III; 3. BMI <= 28 kg/m^2; 4. Plan to undergo radical resection of esophageal cancer under general anesthesia; 5. Sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are contraindicated for nasal administration (such as nasal defects or disease); 2. Previous hypertension, diabetes; 3. History of insulin allergy; 4. History of alcohol abuse; 5. Unable to communicate before surgery (coma, deep dementia or language impairment, severe vision and hearing disorders); 6. MMSE score is too low [illiteracy < 17 points, elementary school level < 20 points, middle school level (including technical secondary school) < 24 points]; 7. Severe heart, liver and kidney disease; 8. Neurological disease or mental illness history.
