Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults (> 18 years) presenting with facial acne ; 2. Patients with grade I – III acne.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who were pregnant or breastfeeding, or had scar constitution; 2. Patients who had a history of photoallergy and solar exposure within one week; 3. Patients with a tendency for keloid formation or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, active herpes simplex infection and chronic or uncontrolled systemic disease and light sensitivity, and using systemic medication known to be photosensitizing; 4. Patients who were allergy to GA or similar ingredients were excluded.
