Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Inclusion criteria for first-episode schizophrenia: (1) For the first time, the patients with clinical diagnosis meeting the diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia in DSM-V were enrolled by two physicians with professional titles of attending or above; (2) At least one item of the PANSS scale is above mild (>3 points); (3) Aged 16-45 years, right-handed; (4) Education level of junior high school and above; (5) DUP<=5 years; (6) Not taking any psychotropic drugs, including antipsychotics, within 3 months before enrollment; (7) Binocular visual acuity or corrected visual acuity of 1.0 and above; (8) Be able to identify the facial photo of Chinese President Xi Jinping, be able to understand and complete the requirements in this experiment, and sign the informed consent form. 2. Inclusion criteria for schizophrenia in remission: (1) Patients with clinical diagnosis conforming to the diagnostic criteria of schizophrenia in DSM-V and in remission are enrolled by two physicians with professional titles of attending or above; (2) All 8 items on the PANSS scale are mild or less than mild (<=3 points) and last for at least 6 months; (3) Aged 16-45 years, right-handed; (4) Education level of junior high school and above; (5) binocular visual acuity or corrected visual acuity of 1.0 and above; (6) Be able to identify the facial photo of Chinese President Xi Jinping, be able to understand and complete the requirements in this experiment, and sign the informed consent form. 3. Enrollment of healthy subjects: (1) Does not meet the diagnostic criteria for any mental disorder in the DSM-V; (2) No family history of mental illness; (3) Aged 16-45 years, right-handed; (4) Education level of junior high school and above; (5) binocular vision or corrected visual acuity of 1.0 and above; able to identify the facial photo of Chinese President Xi Jinping, able to understand and complete the requirements in this experiment, and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any moles, scars, tattoos and other obvious and easy to identify marks on the face.
